3 Months

At 3 months, Blair has become a wiggle worm. She scoots, wiggles and rolls her way around.

I never find her the way I left her.

She still insists on being swaddled to fall asleep, however, she usually finds her way out of even the strongest swaddle blankets. I'm trying to break her of the swaddle habit because she has rolled over in both directions and I'm afraid that she'll get stuck in the middle of the night. I usually give in when she is still wide awake at 11pm.

She has also figured out how to climb over anything that is in her way. :) I'm a little nervous about what is in store over the next few months. Maybe I shouldn't be so concerned about the last 10 pounds of pregnancy weight, something tells me that I'll be pretty busy.

By the way - she is also starting to sit on her own.

Bowling and a picnic

We had a wonderful time playing at the park yesterday.

Emory loves to dig in the giant sandbox (aka playground). She begs to go "dig in the soil".

Blair just loves the change of scenery.

I highly recommend that everyone take a three year old bowling at least once in your lifetime. We had such a good time, she has already asked to go back.

The Haircut, The Sequel

My hair grew like crazy with this pregnancy. I decided, around the fifth or sixth month, to enjoy the long, full, shiny hair while I could and then when it was no longer enjoyable, donate it to someone who could use it. If my two year old can do it so can I.

By the way, these pictures have made me realize that makeup is no longer optional for me.

We donated Emory's hair to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths but they don't accept colored hair so I had to do a little research to find a place that would. Turns out Locks of Love will happily take colored hair as long as it is in good condition.

My stylist was excited that she got to make such a drastic cut. She took before and after pictures to post on her Facebook profile. I think she was most excited about the fact that I let her do whatever she wanted for the new style.

I know you can't tell from the picture but it is shorter in the back and angled down. And yes, that is my AXO Riverboat Formal t-shirt.

Playtime

Emory is thrilled to have a new friend to play with. Blair loves to be included in tea parties and playing ball.
She's not a fan of being dressed up like "Little Bo Pete", however.

Sorry the pictures aren't great, the flash wasn't working correctly.

2 Months

Okay, I know the sign is upside down, maybe I'll take new pictures tomorrow.
