Blair being Blair

11 Months

We have a walker! Blair decided to start walking just a few days before she turned 11 months old. She is getting better everyday and has recently decided to quit crawling. If she falls down, she gets back up. Now, I just need to convince her to wear shoes.

Blair also loves to mimic everyone, especially Emory. She has really taken to Yellow Molly and loves to give hugs to everyone. She is an extremely loving and easy going little girl, most of the time...

Emory had an adorable floral duvet to match the purple and green stuff in her room and decided at the last minute that her new favorite color was pink. I'm trying to find fabric for the bedskirt that will incorporate pink, purple and green so that it will all make sense.

There are still a few more things that need to be completed (curtains in LBG's room and a bedskirt for BBG). We didn't paint because the entire house was newly painted and the homeowners wanted a large fee to repaint when we move out.

10 Months

Holy cow, Blair is 10 months old! How did that happen? Not only is she 10 months old, she's mobile, extremely curious and afraid of nothing.

Blair's favorite things to do are make messes, eat, play at the beach and try to do whatever Emory is doing.

Size wise, Blair is tiny. She only gained 9 ounces from 6 months to 9 months. However, the doctor wasn't concerned because she is otherwise healthy and developing fine.

Skill wise, Blair is beginning to stand on her own, extremely vocal and very good at finding things that are hidden. She continues to feed herself and has learned to drink from a straw.

Easter and LBG's 9 Month

We went to the beach to celebrate Easter with Keith, Bethany and their kids. This was Blair's first trip to the beach and I didn't even get a picture of her in the ocean. She was only on the beach long enough to dip her feet in the water and take a family picture because the big kids went while she was napping. She turned 9 months old on Sunday. Hopefully, we will be able to get in for a well check soon and I will post her official stats.

Emory had a wonderful time playing with Merrin and Eric and I had a great time trading date nights with Keith and Bethany.

I think Easter at the beach is a tradition that we should definitely continue.

A little busy these days.

House #6 in 6 years. I will post more pictures soon. My sanity these days comes from Philippians 4 : 6&7. LBG is learning to cruise by holding onto boxes.

BBG started preschool this week. She has been begging to go for months now and a spot opened up at the only (acceptable) school in town right before we moved. We decided to go ahead a let her start now so that she can meet some new friends. "School is AWESOME!" -Emory, age 3

Eight Months

Holy Cow! I can't believe I haven't posted in a month. We've been a bit busy with moving so some things have gotten pushed down the list. However, I didn't want LBG's eight month birthday to go unnoticed.

This month Blair has decided that she wants to move. She is quite the crawler, she prefers one knee and one foot at the moment. She is pulling up to stand and just beginning to cruise. Rice cakes are by far her favorite food with bananas coming in a close second. She has 3 (almost 4) teeth and is becoming very verbal these days.

Blair has such a wonderful personality. She loves to play and laugh with Emory and cuddle with just about anyone. I can't wait to see what the next couple months bring!
