Blair is 3 weeks old now. As of Thursday, she is 9 pounds 3 ounces and 22 inches long. She is definitely growing. She is following in her big sister's footsteps in many ways (eating, sleeping, unusually active). This afternoon she rolled over from stomach to back. Unlike Emory, however, it didn't phase her one bit. Emory hated "tummy time" so much that she found a way out of it, Blair just wiggled her way over.
In other news, we are planning Emory's Pink Flamingo 3rd Birthday. I'll post pictures after the party on Saturday.
No offense to older kids but we love it when school starts back in the fall. There aren't very many activities that you can do in the summer that aren't scorching hot so those places get very crowded. Now that the big (unruly) kids are in school, Emory can have fun at the park again.
I will never understand why some parents let their children terrorize younger kids, it seems to be a regular occurrence these days. There was only one bully at the splash park this morning and Emory was the brave little girl that stood up to him and told him "That's not nice!". His mother at least pretended to discipline him, oh well, we had a good time in spite of him.
